Climate and weather

The flag of Madeira

Madeira is located out in the Atlantic and is affected e.g. by the Gulf Stream therefore the climate is sub tropic.

Pleasant all year around with temperature in average of c:a 17-23o C in daytime. A shower of rain now and then is not unusual but they passes quickly. Up in the mountains and in the forests it´s a bit cooler than along the coast in the south. The evenings are also a bit cooler.
